Moons & Moods: Sunrise Blessing Bowl Ritual

This ritual will help cleanse your mind and open your heart to the beauty of the universe. It is for a time when self-reflection and realising your own potential is needed.

You will need:

• A white flower

• The Sunrise (or a pink candle)

• A bowl

• Water

The flower signifies purity, beauty and potential love for yourself and others.

The candle or rising sun in the East represents the element fire which encourages harmony, higher intention and the light of the soul.

Water represents its own element, the direction of the west. It represents the flow of your life, attuning to your own emotions and cleansing yourself.

Fill the bowl with ocean water (or just normal water) and float the flowers in the bowl. With your left hand gently stir the water in the bowl and say:

" These waters cleanse my soul and being,

Now with a clear mind & heart, I am seeing,

I am love; my heart is as big as sky & earth.

From the East to the West, love universal gives life its worth.

Keep the water in a little jar or in the bowl if you did this ritual at home for 3 nights. Dry the flowers and keep on your nightstand or desk where it will always fill your heart with love.
